Program Summary
KBR's Global Asset Management (GAM) group offers comprehensive manufacturing and supply chain solutions to a diverse clientele. With a global reach spanning over +20 locations, the program caters to both commercial and government customers. Our array of services includes Government Property Management, Production Maintenance, Mail Room Services, Equipment Tracking, Regulatory and Customer Compliance of Property Systems, Import/Export Trade Compliance, Material Management, Stockrooms/Tool Cribs/Receiving, Engineering Tool Design and Rework/Repairs, Records Management, Distribution Services, Capital Asset Management, and Development & Production-Equipment Maintenance. The GAM Program is committed to delivering excellence in every aspect of the supply chain and asset management process, ensuring the seamless operation of our clients' enterprises.
Job Summary
Under direct supervision, performs routine assignments and develops core job competencies with existing procedures by solving standard problems. Actively deploys Property Procedures and Policies in maintaining Government approved business systems that are fully compliant with Government, customer, and contractual requirements, as well as pertinent Aerospace policies and procedures.
Abide by specific objectives or statements from contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs), contract
deliverables, and outcome metrics.
Tactically supports the responsibility of Property that impact the Aero site's business system compliance, which affects the ability of the site to qualify, perform, and invoice Government contracts.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Actively support the sites Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) audits, and Self-Assessment requirements in accordance with the Property Outcomes and Requirements identified within the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), specifically FAR 45 and 52.245-1.
  • Support Property objectives, work plans, and delivery schedules of Property Functions.
  • Actively build relationships and depth of knowledge within the Government and customer asset management communities.
  • Actively support and ensure execution of corrective action plans.
  • Support the tracking and compilation of metric data and Property Management Self-Assessment data.
  • Support cross functional groups to assure Property Compliance Practices, Policies and Standards are adhered to.
  • Actively participate with site stakeholders to implement process changes affecting cross functional groups.
  • Ability to maintain oversight/enforce FAR regulations over all transfers of government property.
  • Ability to create DD1149s, verify assets to record to be transferred for accountability.
  • Knowledge of screening DD1149s and provide guidance to program planning.
  • Knowledge of utilizing SAP to ensure shipper information.
  • Ability to maintain repository for DD1149s and voucher log, for Space and Defense.
  • Knowledge of performing Cost/No Cost Property transfers, including follow on contracts.
  • Ability to process Ship-In-Place hardware.
  • Support Property Contract Closeout and method of disposition.
  • Ability to generate reports as required.
  • Ability to support Physical inventory of assets.
  • Other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable Transportation

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Asset Tracking databases, e.g., SAP, eQuip, PIEE
  • Strong PC skills especially with Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Capability to obtain Forklift certification - Training provided on-site
