Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth across both Elevated and International Fire Protection.

This hybrid role is responsible for: 

  • Generating new business
  • Expanding existing customer relationships across both companies
  • Driving multi-service, cross-selling opportunities
  • Delivering profitable, sustainable growth within the assigned territory

The ideal candidate will proactively identify opportunities, develop strong customer relationships, and position both organizations as long-term service partners.   

Position will be based in our Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, office

Responsibilities and Duties

Business Development & Prospecting

  • Identify, target, and develop new customers across elevator service and fire/life safety inspection markets
  • Conduct proactive outreach including cold calling, networking, and industry engagement
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with growth targets
  • Lead marketing and outreach efforts including trade shows, industry events, and customer presentations

Sales Execution

  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, site surveys, proposal development, negotiation, and close
  • Conduct site surveys of:
    • Vertical transportation equipment (elevators & escalators)
    • Fire & Life Safety systems (inspection and compliance needs)
  • Develop and present solution-oriented proposals tailored to customer needs
  • Negotiate and secure multi-year service and inspection agreements

Account Management & Relationship Development

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer operations, risks, and compliance needs
  • Lead customer meetings, presentations, and “lunch & learns”
  • Ensure successful onboarding of new customers in coordination with operations teams

Cross-Selling & Strategic Growth

  • Identify and execute opportunities to bundle elevator and fire/life safety services
  • Work collaboratively with Elevated and IFP teams to expand overall customer spending across services
  • Consistently evaluate customer portfolio to ensure alignment with “right work, right customer” strategy
