Job Summary:

  • Performance management and staff development actions and communications
  • Resource management and planning of exempt and non-exempt direct reports
  • Lead major engineering projects and initiatives of the department/group
  • Meeting commitments made to all customers, both internal and external
  • Evaluate and guide staff on project assignments
  • Make recommendations and implement various design changes and associated cost reductions
  • Plan and formulate aspects of research and development proposals, such as the objective or purpose of the project, applications that can be utilized from findings, costs of the project, and equipment and human resource requirements
