Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Delivery Manager to support our Calgary operations and work closely with senior leadership, project teams, and cross-functional departments.


This role is ideal for a strong construction leader who is hands-on, solutions-focused, and experienced in overseeing project delivery across multiple active construction projects. The Senior Project Delivery Manager will help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to BUILD ITs quality standards, while also supporting improvements to project systems, processes, communication, and team performance.

Who You Are:

  • 8+ years of experience in construction, with progressive responsibility in project management, project delivery, or construction operations
  • Strong experience overseeing construction projects, project teams, schedules, budgets, and project documentation
  • Experience supporting or leading Project Managers, Project Coordinators, site teams, and/or cross-functional project teams
  • Solid understanding of the full construction project lifecycle, including budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, change orders, RFIs, shop drawings, closeouts, and client communication
  • Experience improving project delivery processes, reporting, team accountability, and operational workflows
  • Familiarity with construction management platforms such as Procore or similar systems
  • Strong ability to build relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Highly organized, analytical, and solutions-focused
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on project involvement

Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior-level oversight and support across construction projects to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to BUILD ITs quality standards.
  • Work closely with the Managing Partner and project teams to improve project delivery, productivity, efficiency, communication, and profitability.
  • Support and guide Project Managers, Project Coordinators, site teams, and cross-functional project teams in the execution of construction projects.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, documentation, and overall project performance.
  • Oversee and support key project documentation, including cost reports, RFIs, change orders, shop drawings, contracts, deficiencies, and closeouts.
  • Participate in project kick-offs, coordination meetings, weekly project reviews, site meetings, and closeout meetings.
  • Support project setup, contract review, and handoff from pre-construction to active construction.
  • Provide constructability input, field-level risk identification, schedule feedback, and lessons learned to support stronger project planning and future bids.
  • Promote consistent and effective use of Procore or other construction management systems.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Support training, mentoring, resource planning, hiring, and performance feedback for project team members.
  • Reinforce BUILD ITs safety standards, quality expectations, brand standards, and culture across office and site teams.
