JP&A Holdings, LLC / Red River Home owns and operates 9 Retail Furniture Locations in North Texas and Southwest Arkansas. 6 ASHLEY Furniture stores, 1 ASHLEY Outlet, and 2 Four States Furniture locations. Red River Home has an immediate opening for a Delivery Manager. This position, which can be based in Texarkana, AR or Sherman, TX, is responsible for overseeing the delivery teams and all associated policies, procedures, and processes while keeping true to the four non-negotiable Red River Home Core Values: Customer First / Integrity / Growth Minded / Positive Attitude.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Set clear expectations for all drivers and driver helpers regarding safety, performance, and compliance with company policies.

· Provide timely communication with all delivery personnel, store staff, and customers to ensure great customer service.

· Identify opportunities to improve guest experience and operational efficiency.

· Work with drivers to ensure correctness and quality of product going to the guest.

· Quickly and effectively resolve all delivery issues and determine root cause and appropriate actions.

· Monitor driver team performance and provide documentation, coaching, or corrective actions as necessary.

· Determine required inventory of parts and tools for each delivery truck and ensure each truck is equipped accordingly.

· Oversees the return of the Demountable Boxes to the Distribution Center, to meet consistent quality and cargo securement standards.

· Small Department; primarily functions as a working manager. Potentially performing the duties of driver or driver helper as needed.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

· Must have GREAT attitude.

· Experience with driving 26’ box trucks.

· Respect for customer and company property.

· At least 5 years of leadership experience working directly with driver teams in an operational environment

 · Must be able to manage multiple aspects of the delivery process, as well as complete additional duties assigned.

· Must demonstrate Customer First Focus.

· Must be able to travel between Texarkana, AR and Sherman, TX as needed.

· Experience with and willingness to learn Package AI Platform & Storis Operating System are a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus to read reports, view computer screen, etc.

· Must be able to hear and understand speech to interact with others.

· Must be able to speak so that others will be able to understand.

· Will bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach at or above shoulder level.

· Will lift and carry objects up to 75 pounds and more with assistance.
