We are currently seeking a Scheduling Coordinator for our Clinton, TN location. The Planning and Scheduling Associate works cross functionally to provide excellent service to our customer base while maximizing production efficiency through the development of optimized planning and scheduling for their assigned facility. Pay range is $50,000 - $60,000 per year.
Reports To: Scheduler / Supply Chain / Operations (as applicable)

Position Summary
The Production Scheduling Coordinator supports manufacturing operations by scheduling new orders, managing batch tickets, and coordinating production and rework activities within the ERP system. This role helps ensure accurate production planning, timely fulfillment, and effective communication across Manufacturing, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Shipping.
Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing facility strongly preferred
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
  • Ability to calculate inventory and production requirements based on customer demand and available data
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Key Responsibilities
1. Scheduling New Orders & Intermediate Materials
  • Review new incoming orders to determine production requirements for order fulfillment
  • Create batch tickets for production and post-production activities (PPA)
  • Generate batch tickets for intermediate material production
  • Calculate batch sizes using the Bulk Density calculator and assign orders to appropriate production lines
  • Schedule sample orders as required
  • Move orders between production lines with appropriate approvals
2. NC Work-Off & Rework Scheduling
  • Add Non-Conforming (NC) materials to the production schedule as required
  • Schedule rework formulas as indicated
  • Add detailed notes in the ERP schedule to document use of rework materials, substitutions, or special instructions
3. Communication & Coordination
  • Review data related to new rework pools for future production use
  • Provide data to support internal reporting requests
  • Participate in departmental meetings as required
  • Create screw-pull purge batch tickets for Manufacturing
  • Coordinate order status updates with Customer Service, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Shipping
  • Request and follow up on material updates from Purchasing as needed
4. Batch Ticket Management & Scheduling Support
  • Print and distribute batch tickets to production teams
  • Create batch tickets for materials tied to established stocking programs at the scheduler's request
  • Provide backup support to the Scheduling function as needed
  • Close batch tickets daily in the ERP system
  • Review aged inventory for work-off opportunities
  • Scan and archive completed batch tickets as required
5. Safety
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • Promote a strong culture of safety through accountability and safe work practices
6. Miscellaneous
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing and scheduling operations
