Job description

We have an immediate opportunity for a Project Control Analyst for the Pomona area. This ideal candidate must possess the ability to perform moderately complex quantities analysis and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investment. This is an onsite position Monday-Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Download financial data from various sources (SAP, SharePoint, Excel files) to prepare forecast reports, high volume. collect, validate, and analyze operational financials, and performance data from enterprise systems
  • Experience with analyzing business operations, workflows, and processes to identify gaps, risks, and make recommended improvements
  • Ability to prepare, review, and update product budget baselines
  • Experience forecasting short and long-term expenditures for electrical substation construction projects
  • Ability to develop impact assessments to support operational decision-making
  • Ability to develop data-driven insight tied to cost, schedule, compliance, and performance outcomes
  • Ability to organization with data-driven insight tied to cost, schedule, compliance, and performance outcomes
  • Ability to ensure data’s accuracy with support documentation to support audits and management reviews.
  • Experience with budget tracking, forecasting, accruals, and cost analysis in coordination with finance
  • Responsible for coordinating inputs, deliverables, and timelines
  • Ability to support audits by providing documentation, data extracts, and evidence
  • Track corrective actions, finding, and commitment
  • Ability to support operational projects by tracking milestones, risk, and deliverables
  • Maintain project documentation and monthly forecast summary for as many as 50 projects

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor of Science, Accounting or Finance
  • 2 plus years of experience
  • Intermediate experience with python programming, MS Access, MS Office 365 with expert knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with risk analysis utilizing Python programming for reporting, cluster analysis, and predictive analytics and knowledge of Power BI
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Upon a conditional job offer, a drug test and background check will be required.
