Job description

Quanex is looking for an Inventory Control Analyst to join our team located in St. Cloud, MN.

As our Inventory Control Analyst, you'll be the go-to expert for inventory accuracy—leading cycle counts and physical inventories, supporting financial close activities, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with SOX requirements. Your work will directly support operational efficiency and business performance.

Work Hours: Monday – Thursday (7:30am-4:30pm), Friday (7:30am-2:30pm)

    What Success Looks Like:

    • Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels, entering/managing purchase orders, entering/managing workorders, and addressing product with no movement.
    • Monitor SOX compliance, inventory controls, and related documentation.
    • Keep proper personnel informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective inventory management.
    • Record/code invoices and generate and maintain processes for all new and existing programs.

    What You Bring:

    • 2-year post-secondary education or equivalent related experience, preferred.
    • Inventory experience, preferred.
    • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, specifically Excel with ability to do V-Lookups, conditional formatting, etc.
    • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Highly detail oriented.
    • Comfortable with prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    The salary range for this position is $50K - $60K w/ bonus potential.
