The Category Operations Project Intern role is responsible for supporting the scaling of the category through leading cross-function initiatives, and driving topline revenue growth for TikTok's US Commerce business. As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, apply your knowledge to real-world challenges, and explore your career interests. Responsibilities - Campaign strategy implementation and execution, in partnership with the category managers, campaign and content creator teams, supporting with project timeline management, resource coordination and implementation, product tracking, merchant performance analysis, and post-campaign reviews. - Participate in business planning and target tracking for the category. - Through data analysis and merchant/influencer research, continuously monitor operational performance and provide insights to support business decisions. - Contribute to campaign planning and merchants communications, and operational support for other campaign segments. - Support cross-team collaboration on key business projects, coordinating with Product, Category Operations, DA, and other teams to ensure optimal execution.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Business, Economics, Data-related majors - Strong data skills: Excel, SQL, Hive, etc. - Excellent stakeholder and project management skills. Strong ability to manage expectations, drive for performance, and collaborate with internal stakeholders under tight time constraints - Independent and self-motivated, with good end-to-end ownership of projects. Open to taking on new and ambiguous projects and eager to learn skills across a variety of marketing specialties Preferred Qualifications: - Previous internships in consulting, strategy, business analysis, or marketing. [For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $23.75- $23.75.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
