Job description

This position executes automation, operations, and process engineering consulting engagements for new and existing clients, helping them to meet their business strategic goals. They will assist our consulting engineering staff in executing consulting engagements and in pursuing automation system sales through the use of Data Analysis, Material Handling System Design, and Computer Simulation while learning about automation, distribution systems design, and general industrial engineering principles.
General Job Duties
  • Conduct consulting services for our clients.
  • Conduct data analysis and modeling
  • Assist in creating automation concepts through MS Visio, AutoCad, etc.
  • Develop simulation models of our concepts
  • Assist in pursuing new clients for consulting services.
  • Coordinate with specific resources (software engineers, controls engineers, CAD / Simulation Engineers, etc.) to prepare reports and proposals.
  • Continue to enhance and refine the tools / methodologies we use.
  • Learn about distribution systems and automation, as well as consulting processes.
  • Any and all job duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a 4-year Industrial Engineering degree or 2-year Masters in Industrial Engineering
  • Experience with data analysis tools (PowerBI, Alteryx, SQL) preferred.
  • Understanding of supply chains and distribution or manufacturing systems is a plus • Experience with computer simulation (FlexSim, Demo3D, Arena, etc.) a plus;
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without need of sponsorship
