About The Role

DeansList is expanding its Operations Team and is looking for an Operations (Ops) Associate to join the team in a newly created role. The Ops Associate will support cross‐team collaboration at DeansList, help manage internal systems, and contribute to organization‐wide planning and execution. People with experience as school‐based operations managers, executive assistants, program coordinators, or office managers will be a natural fit.

Responsibilities

  • Execute cross‐team projects, coordinating work streams across departments while owning the logistical and administrative tasks needed for the project's success.
  • Maintain a 10,000‐foot view of projects while also handling detailed tasks.
  • Assist with or own special projects to support the Sales and Operations teams.
  • Plan DeansList events including team retreats and client conferences, securing event spaces, booking travel, coordinating school visits, and finalizing agendas.
  • Act as the operations support for school onboarding during the busy summer season, setting automated reminder emails, reaching out to users about deadlines, and brainstorming new workflow improvements.
  • Project manage outreach campaigns to current users, leading internal meetings, tracking tasks, following up with team members, and managing outreach calendars.
  • Support hiring and onboarding of new team members, plan internal team‐building events, and assist with travel, office supplies, and other operational needs.
  • Conduct research on topics such as software selection, education trends, and business analyses, and present findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • 2‐5 years of work experience.
  • Relevant experience as a school operations manager, executive assistant, program coordinator, or office manager.
  • Remote work preference, with a desire to collaborate with teammates and school clients.
  • Ability to multi‐task and manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Experience managing up and working with multiple teams in a remote environment.
  • Self‐starter, taking on new projects with minimal instruction.
  • Comfort using modern SaaS tools for project and data management (Monday.com, Salesforce, Zoom, Notion, Google Suite).
  • Experience in K‐12 education or with DeansList is a plus.
