Kimball Equipment Company, a leader in the aggregate mining and supply industry since 1946, is seeking a Corporate Operations Associate to join our growing team. As a trusted dealer for top brands like Terex Cedarapids, Terex Finlay, and Superior Industries, we continue to expand and are looking for a detail-oriented professional to help support our operations behind the scenes.

About the Role

This is a behind-the-scenes, make-things-happen role. You'll help keep corporate operations organized, compliant, and running smoothly across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and detail-driven, with a passion for building systems, staying ahead of deadlines, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys working with details, staying organized, and building structure. We will provide training and support to help you succeed in this role.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Track and manage fleet vehicles, registrations, and documentation
  • Monitor emissions compliance, recalls, and repairs
  • Support USDOT compliance, including driver qualification files, DOT employee compliance, and required reporting
  • Maintain accurate fleet and compliance records
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews
  • Manage business license renewals and maintain master lists for licenses, leases, and operational documents
  • Assist with safety initiatives, including weekly safety bulletins and compliance recordkeeping
  • Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and regulatory agencies as needed

What We're Looking For

  • 2 years of administrative or office support experience (or equivalent education)
  • Strong organizational skills with a systems/process-oriented mindset
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, SharePoint, and Excel)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple departments
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
  • Interest in operations, compliance, or fleet management as a career path.
  • Experience with fleet management, compliance, DOT regulations, Paylocity, Samsara, or insurance platforms is a plus
