Job Description Summary:

Focus Partners is seeking a motivated and qualified individual for the position of Operations Associate. In this role, the individual will work with a team to support the day-to-day operations of a large financial advisory firm. This is a central seat with exposure to all aspects of the firm including, but not limited to, Operations & Technology, Client Service, Wealth Management, Investment Management, and Compliance. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who is organized, shows attention to detail, is solution-orientated, and flexible.
Focus provides team members the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule. Our hybrid model is defined as 3 days in office work required per week, while giving team members the option to work remotely 2 day per week, or as assigned by their team leader.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Enter and review transactions for client accounts.

  • Cash and position reconciliation.

  • Identifying, investigating, and resolving cash, position, and performance, issues.

  • Communicating with and monitoring our external vendors (custodians, accountants, etc.) and internal partners.

  • Ensure data integrity and assist with system maintenance

  • Network with senior personnel internally and externally to resolve issues, gain needed information, and influence outcomes for team.

  • Learn operational fundamentals and basics.

  • Supportteam members with workload when required or capacity allows.

  • Serve as backup for alternative investmentsadministration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and 1+ years of operations and/or client service experience preferred; OR high school diploma and 3+ years of working in financial services or related field.

  • Familiarity with Portfolio Center or similar portfolio accounting system, Tamarac, Excel

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy

  • General knowledge of financial accounting

  • Strong problem solving and time management skills

  • Versatility, flexibility, and an ability to workwithin constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

This position is a non-exemptposition. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between$50,000-$53,000base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matterexpertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just onecomponentof the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k). Please note that the job title is subject to change based on the selected candidate's experience and education.
