Responsibilities:
  • Planning, directing and evaluating the sales operations as it relates to the service centre
  • Lead sales team in increasing business by prospecting and securing opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Determining sales strategies by maintaining/developing/expanding existing customers
  • Supporting the selection of prospects based on the knowledge of industrial sectors
  • Providing product technical knowledge to repair and maintenance staff
  • Supporting failure analysis investigations
  • Maintaining a current list of customer names, contacts, actions and requirements within the corporate CRM system (Office / SAP / C4C)
  • Assisting in coordinating capital investment
  • Manage and negotiate quotations for new business and repair works
  • Assisting in troubleshooting manufacturing-related challenges
  • As required, preparing and executing training and product description presentations
  • Providing technical advice and product troubleshooting to customers in the field
  • Aiding in the development of potential acquisitions and negotiations
  • Handling customers' technical and commercial questions
  • Introducing new manufacturing technologies/equipment
  • Preparing sales forecasts, reporting and projects

Qualifications:
  • College diploma in Business, Mechanical Engineering, or other related field is required

  • 7+years of experience with mechanical seals and sealing equipment
  • 5+ years of sales and leadership experience, including team development, performance optimization, and crossfunctional coordination in technical and industrial environments
  • Ability to resolve problems in early stages
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to demonstrate sound and accurate judgment
  • Must be available for frequent travel to support customers in different regions for business development
  • Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and vendors - verbal & written
  • Ability to work independently, manage own time and priorities
  • Advanced knowledge of Mechanical Seal function & repair processes
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of rotating equipment
  • Computer literate - Microsoft Office, SAP
