Position Details
Advertising/Posting Title Dean's Administrative Coordinator Posting Summary
Manage the full scope of the deans' priorities and workflow, exercising a high degree of autonomy, discretion, and independent judgment to navigate complex, confidential situations and achieve optimal outcomes. Oversee logistical planning and execution for Dean's Office events and conferences. Provide functional supervision to members of the Grossman School of Business (GSB) Events Team and Dean's Office staff and student support teams. Dean's primary liaison with central administration, University oces and other Deans' Oces across campus, UVM Foundation, and the GSB Board of Advisors (BOA), managing communications and activities. Prioritize workloads and delegate tasks as necessary to ensure the timely delivery of all requests from the Dean. Collaborate with the Associate Dean and GSB HR Professional on matters related to faculty affairs. Exercise the highest level of discretion in the use and disclosure of highly sensitive, condential, and/or time-dependent materials.
Responsibilities subject to change based on the needs of GSB at the discretion of the dean.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor's degree in related eld and ve to seven years related experience. Working knowledge of software applications used to support oce operations, including data analysis and reporting, and familiarity with Internet resources required. Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite required. Effective interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills required. High attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills required. Ability to exercise discretion regarding confidentiality and sensitivity required.
Desirable Qualifications
High level executive support experience for Dean/VP positions preferred. Program and event management experience preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Experience using Digital Measures software desirable.
Anticipated Pay Range $68,000-$78,000 Other Information Special Conditions A probationary period may be required, Background Check required for this position FLSA Exempt Union Position No
