A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic

The Operations Analyst plays a pivotal role in analyzing, optimizing, and supporting the organization's operational performance across multiple functions. Acting as a key contributor within the Operations Analytics and Support, this role focuses on identifying efficiency gaps, conducting data-driven analyses, and implementing actionable solutions that enhance productivity, profitability, and service quality.

The analyst collaborates closely with cross-functional partners, including Operations, Sales, IT, and Management, to ensure alignment on strategic objectives and drive operational improvements. Through advanced data interpretation, performance monitoring, and process evaluation, the Operations Analyst provides valuable insights that support decision-making and long-term growth.

This position requires strong analytical skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset to navigate a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. The analyst is also expected to contribute to strategic initiatives such as the "Control Tower" pillars, embodying a continuous improvement culture while supporting the change management associated with innovative departmental projects.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current business performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct data analysis and make recommendations to improve delivery performance.
  • Create reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
  • Monitor performance metrics and track progress towards operational goals.
  • Identify potential risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.
  • Participate in the "Command Center" initiative during peak seasons.
  • Embody the 3 pillars of the "Control tower": teamwork, innovation, and adaptability.
  • Will need to support the change management required by the innovations that the department implements.
  • Stay updated with the stations' environment and the various challenges they might face.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in operations analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, or any similar degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as an Operations Analyst or in a similar analytical role
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., PivotTables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Experience with data analysis tools and techniques; experience with Power BI is considered an asset
