Position Summary...The Analyst, Museum Operations role (Guest Services Supervisor) of The Walmart Museum is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring an exceptional visitor experience, and preserving the rich history of Walmart. This role involves managing staff, maintaining exhibits, assisting with the upkeep of the facility, and implementing strategies to enhance the museum's educational and cultural impact.

Members provide clear, detailed explanations of exhibits while upholding high standards of customer service, safety, and ethical conduct. The team adapts to various visitor needs, supports ongoing learning, and fosters collaboration. By sharing comprehensive knowledge and creating meaningful connections, the team plays a key role in preserving and promoting Walmart’s history and mission. Each member contributes to making every visit informative and memorable, ensuring a positive and enriching experience for all audiences.What you'll do...
  • Manage daily museum operations, including staff scheduling, facility maintenance, and exhibit support.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to staff to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Oversee cash handling processes via daily cash reconciliation as well as weekly deposits to bank.
  • Address visitor inquiries, complaints, and emergencies promptly while maintaining high customer service standards.
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports and inventory to support efficient museum and retail functions.
  • Implement and monitor safety and emergency procedures to protect visitors, collections, and facilities.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with community stakeholders to support museum objectives.

  • You have previous museum operations experience, hospitality, public speaking, people management, and public service.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
