Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Processes HR employee data such as benefits, payroll deductions, talent development, remote employment requests, and timekeeping information

  • Reviews and documents receipt of HR program paperwork such as new hire forms, tax withholding, tuition reimbursement

  • Responds to HR inquiries from faculty and staff

  • Coordinates, supports, and presents new hire HR orientation meetings

  • Assists with the preparation of HR communications materials such as open enrollment, new hire materials, and marketing materials

  • Provides training logistics and support including scheduling, enrollment, and catering

  • Provides general office administration support such as ordering supplies, greeting visitors, filing invoices and purchase orders, greeting visitors, and answering phone calls and emails

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Knowledge of administrative procedures and practices related to human resources

  • Skill in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication

The HR Administration Coordinator for Employee Learning role is focused on supporting the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of Talent Development. This role assists with maintaining and updating the Workday Learning system, providing basic troubleshooting support, and helping ensure compliance training is assigned and tracked appropriately. Experience with Workday Learning administration is preferred. The coordinator supports the coordination of programs and events, including scheduling, communications, and logistics, and helps facilitate onboarding and new hire learning activities. The role also provides support for intake and tracking of development requests, assists with basic data reporting and record maintenance, and helps organize and maintain learning materials and resources. In addition, the coordinator contributes to routine communications and program promotions under guidance, while supporting vendor coordination and general administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient program delivery.
