Business Operations Associate

Norima Consulting is hiring a Business Operations Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our office and help our team stay equipped, connected, and set up to do their best work. In this role, you'll work across a variety of functions including office administration, logistics and equipment coordination, employee support, vendor coordination, communications, and operations projects.

Term: 6-month term position, with strong possibility of extension or conversion to permanent based on business needs and performance.

Work arrangement: In-office, full-time

Location: Winnipeg, MB (1200-220 Portage Ave[KN1.1].)

  • Collaborate across our globally distributed team to support day-to-day business operations
  • Support special projects and administrative initiatives as needed
  • Help spot opportunities to improve how things run
  • Manage office supply budgeting, procurement, and inventory to keep operations running smoothly
  • Coordinate employee recognition initiatives (gifts, milestones) and manage business card/branding orders across the team
Communications & Office Administration
  • Own the day-to-day management of the company inbox, ensuring inquiries are responded to, requests are triaged, and nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Manage front-office operations, including welcoming visitors, and handling mail and courier logistics, ensuring a professional office experience
Equipment & Asset Coordination
  • Manage inventory of company laptops and equipment, keeping records up to date
  • Coordinate equipment provisioning, shipments, returns, and employee communications throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Partner with our IT service partner on equipment and support needs
