About The Role Peraton is seeking a Security Administration Manager to provide Peraton employees and their partners with program security support and facilitate compliance for programs with operations across the United States. This position will be located in Chantilly, Virginia with the need to visit other locations as required. If you possess the positive energy and experience to demonstrate sound judgment, foresight and problem-solving skills, and ability to be a team player leading operation in classified and unclassified security programs, and if you have extensive knowledge in managing contracts from various government agencies in a Multiple Facility Organization (MFO) structure - this is the job for you. The Security Manager will be responsible for the following: * Lead a group of security professionals to deliver security operations across multiple facilities and programs. Required support includes oversight and management of the execution of Personnel Security, Physical Security, Information Assurance (IA), Communications Security (COMSEC), and Visitor Control at all NSS program locations.
* Mentor and develop team to achieve and maintain high-performance, support career development, conduct performance reviews, and manage role expectations
* Interpret and enforce government and company security policies and provide direction and guidance to program security personnel to protect and enable business.
* Interface with program managers and maintain liaison with US Government Program Security Officers.
* Provide prime and/or subcontractor security support and direction including the development and maintenance of DD254's and security guidance.
* Develop and revise program level security plans, procedures, and instructions, as well as ensuring their consistent application.
* Oversee classification guidance to employees; the development and provision of security education and awareness training; the conduct of security briefings; lead security self-inspections and audits and investigate security incidents.
* Ensure timely and relevant security volume development for NSS BU proposals.
* Manages the facility information in NISS
* Prepares self-inspections and takes lead on behalf of the program for DCSA security reviews
* Conduct programmatic audits to ensure compliance and provide performance metrics
* Oversee classified space and manage document control to safeguarding standards as required by the customer.
Qualifications * Ability to lead and build a high-performing security team
* Ability to work independently to identify, assess & resolve unique security situations with innovative solutions geared to facilitate contract performance within the bounds of security
* 10+ years of security experience, to include 5+ years of security office administration/management and/or facility security experience
* Must possess a high level of understanding of DoD and Intelligence Community security clearance processes, security related policies and procedures related to 32 CFR Part 117.
* Basic knowledge of intrusion detection systems and access control devices.
* Ability to apply the foregoing knowledge of government security requirements in a complex multi-level secure environment to ensure program compliance in non-routine situations
* Knowledge of the combatant command structure and operational requirements
* Active Top Secret clearance.
* Highly proficient written and verbal communications skills with emphasis on clear and concise presentation of complex information
* Expert knowledge of NISS, DISS, NBIS, Scattered Castles, and other IC agency-specific databases and systems.
* Demonstrated skill in using databases to track and monitor information
* Experience managing classified collateral facilities.
Details Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
