Henderson Sport & Social is a state-of-the-art, 180,000-square-foot destination opening in Henderson, Nevada. The facility is designed to become the premier destination for youth and adult sports, recreation, fitness, dining, and family entertainment while serving as a gathering place for the local community.

Our facility features basketball, volleyball, pickleball, indoor turf fields, bowling, a dual-level laser tag arena, Krazy Darts, miniature golf, arcade games, a full-service restaurant and bar, fitness center, Child Watch, and flexible event spaces capable of hosting birthday parties, tournaments, corporate outings, and community celebrations.

Position Summary

Support the daily administrative and operational functions of Henderson Sport & Social by coordinating accounting processes, payroll support, onboarding, training compliance, scheduling administration, and organizational systems that keep the facility operating efficiently.

Operations Administration Team Member serve as a trusted resource for department leaders while protecting confidential information, maintaining operational compliance, and ensuring the behind-the-scenes processes of the facility run smoothly.

  • Maintains accurate financial, payroll, and personnel records with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ensures onboarding, training, certifications, and compliance requirements remain current throughout the facility.

  • Protects confidential employee, financial, and company information with integrity and discretion.
  • Identifies operational concerns proactively while promoting accountability, consistency, and compliance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Business Operations & Administration

  • Provide administrative support to the General Manager, Controller, and all department leaders while coordinating daily operational needs across the facility.
  • Maintain organized office systems, business records, filing, office supplies, deliveries, and administrative documentation.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, assist guests with reservations, book birthday parties and qualifying group events, and direct inquiries to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Conduct facility tours and confidently communicate Henderson Sport & Social's amenities, memberships, attractions, and services to prospective guests and clients.

Accounting, Payroll & Human Resources Support

  • Assist the Controller with invoice reconciliation, vendor communication, financial documentation, and accounting procedures while maintaining established internal controls.
  • Verify daily POS batch settlements and support payroll preparation by reviewing punches, missed punches, overtime, scheduling discrepancies, and timekeeping accuracy.
  • Coordinate onboarding, employee records, background checks, uniforms, certifications, and HR documentation while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Provide operational and accounting support during the Controller's absence as directed.

Training, Compliance & Technology

  • Maintain employee training records within Jolt, UKG, and other operational systems while tracking required certifications and proactively communicating renewal deadlines.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly operational audits to ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, training requirements, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain employee access to operational systems including UKG, Jolt, Sync POS, Laser Tag software, and other approved technology platforms while assisting with user account administration.
  • Communicate compliance concerns, audit findings, and operational recommendations to the General Manager, Controller, and department leaders as appropriate.

Teamwork & Guest Service

  • Serve as a trusted administrative resource for department leaders by providing timely support, accurate communication, and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Support operational projects, scheduling administration, reporting, and special events as business needs require.
  • Build positive relationships with team members, vendors, and guests while representing Henderson Sport & Social with professionalism and integrity.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Previous experience in administration, office management, accounting support, human resources, or business operations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality while handling employee, financial, and company information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn multiple operational software platforms.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:

  • Payroll administration
  • Human Resources support
  • Accounting or Accounts Payable
  • UKG Workforce Management
  • Jolt Operations Management
  • Point-of-Sale systems
  • Hospitality, recreation, or family entertainment operations

Physical Requirements

  • Sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds or more with assistance.
  • Operate computers, office equipment, and technology systems for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Maintain a professional appearance while interacting with guests, vendors, department leaders, and team members.
