Job description

This position involves overseeing a variety of legal administrative and operational activities.

The role assists in implementing processes, leveraging technology, and adopting best practices to support our legal professionals. The Legal Administration Manager also coordinates the efforts between various groups and provides strategic support in developing process improvement plans. This role may involve overseeing resources and could potentially specialize in specific areas, depending on the needs of our team.

Work you'll do

  • Participates in the development and implementation of strategic processes
  • System administrator for the Office of General Counsel Ebilling system with oversight of billing rate process, invoice review and vendor relationship/management
  • Manages the professional indemnity insurance notification process for reporting of U.S. claims/circumstances to representatives of the Deloitte U.S. Entities' insurance carriers which includes significant interaction with OGC partners/principals and Risk Management
  • Assists in spend management, including budgeting, forecasting, KPI analysis and managing expenses
  • Communicates to and tracks OGC's foreign vendors W-8 tax documentation.
  • Serves as OGC point person and liaise with the National Business Continuity Team
  • Supports legal administration team with administrative tasks such as file management, calendar coordination and reporting
  • Collaborates with IT, Finance, Talent, and other departments to align legal operations with broader organizational objectives
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

The successful candidate should be able to:

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP. Experience with Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)

  • Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,000 to $191,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
