Purpose and Scope

The Payroll, Benefits and HR Operations Administrator ensures the seamless execution of multi-state and international (Canada) bi-weekly payroll, comprehensive benefits administration, and HR operations. This role serves as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding total rewards and maintains the integrity of our HRIS data throughout the employee lifecycle.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the timely and accurate processing of bi-weekly payroll for multi-state U.S. and Canadian entities.
  • Manage the administration of self-insured health plans, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) programs.
  • Create accurate reports through ADP and 401k reporting modules.
  • Coordinate and assist in the administration of annual Open Enrollment (OE) process, including system configuration and employee communications.
  • Maintain data integrity within ADP Workforce Now, processing all employee lifecycle changes (onboarding, promotions, offboarding).
  • Facilitate and process government clearance activities and compliance documentation as required.
  • Generate complex reports via ADP for internal audits and wellness program participation.
  • Maintain the integrity of backup files and assist in auditing activity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • 2+ years data management of complex HRIS system.
  • 2+ years of advanced experience specifically using ADP Workforce Now and reporting modules.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Proven track record of maintaining a low error rate in high-volume, fast-paced environments.

Preferred Experience

  • Direct experience managing self-insured health benefit plans.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
  • Experience with ADP Reporting modules and custom field management.
  • SHRM Certification.
