Barbaricum is seeking a Computer Hardware Engineer II to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and modernization of computer hardware and electronic systems supporting Department of Defense (DoD) mission requirements.

The selected candidate will provide technical expertise across a wide range of technologies, including computer systems, network infrastructure, surveillance systems, access control systems, and operational technology environments. The Computer Hardware Engineer will support the operation and sustainment of enterprise and mission systems by performing diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance activities. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, network, and cybersecurity teams to ensure system reliability, operational readiness, and compliance with applicable security and technical standards.

Responsibilities: * Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, network equipment, and peripheral systems supporting mission operations. * Perform diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance on computer systems, electronic equipment, and associated infrastructure. * Support local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), wireless communications systems, and digital services to ensure reliable system performance.

* Install and maintain specialized technologies, including telephone systems, alarm systems, digital signage, electronic access control systems, and camera surveillance systems. * Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot ICS/SCADA, IoT, RF, and other operational technology devices within enterprise and mission environments. * Support the integration and sustainment of hardware and network components while ensuring system availability and operational readiness.

* Document maintenance activities, system configurations, and technical procedures in accordance with organizational requirements. * Collaborate with engineers, administrators, and cybersecurity personnel to resolve technical issues and improve system performance. * Ensure compliance with security requirements, technical standards, and applicable DoD policies and procedures.

* Provide technical support and recommendations for hardware modernization, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements. Required Qualifications: *  Active DoD Secret Clearance * Associates degree in related field. * Must meet DoDM 8140.03 IAT II requirements.
