Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager of Operations will provide corporate guidance and support for the division teams building out and maintaining the ESS (Equipment Shared Service) program within HCA Supply Chain. This includes leveraging reporting and monitoring operations to drive key metrics towards increased efficiencies for end users within the facilities. In addition the Manager will execute initiatives to increase equipment utilizations, reduce rental expenses through optimized tracking, and flow of equipment enterprise wide as well as create and sustain standards in buildout of internal depots across the enterprise.

What will you do in this role:

  • Assists in overseeing the rollout and ongoing operations of ESS program across the enterprise comprising of people, process, and technology (RTLS) that will create a standard operating model within the organization.
  • Works with the other facility team members to assist with on-site reviews and assessments of operations through program implementation as well as post go live.
  • Partners with key equipment rental vendors on rental strategies across the organization
  • Maintains continuous communication with corporate equipment management personnel to ensure alignment around operations as well as presenting best practices and areas of opportunity to improve the overarching program.
  • Execute key initiatives and project plans to drive turnaround times, insufficient utilization, accurate utilization reporting, and cost savings ideas in relation to equipment management.
  • Leverages existing KPIs that will be used to monitor performance and opportunity within the organization.
  • Key liaison with local biomed vendor leadership ensuring proper support is in place as well as accountability to drive compliance and keeping equipment availability to appropriate levels.

What qualifications you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or similar Preferred
  • Medical Equipment Management Operations (Capital Planning, Biomed) Preferred
  • 5+ years of Healthcare / Hospital Operations Preferred
