Job description

Infrastructure Services is part of IS&T and the foundation of Apple's global operations -- managing data center equipment and systems to deliver compute, storage, and networking services for teams across Apple, including its internal developer community. From individual facilities to a worldwide network, Infrastructure Services ensures the technology underneath everything works without question. We are looking for a highly motivated Engineering Program Manager (EPM) Manager to join Apple's Data Center Program Management team. You will be the connective tissue between execution and strategy - driving impactful programs and delivering measurable results across all functions of Data Center Operations, unifying efforts from design to construction, planning to deployment, and strategy to operations.

In this role, you will partner with stakeholders to define problems and drive solutions that improve data center operations at scale. You will lead multiple concurrent programs, balancing strategic vision with tactical execution in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Success requires sound business judgment, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to influence across all levels - from engineers and technicians to senior leadership. As a manager at Apple, you will inspire your team to do their best work and grow into the best version of themselves.","responsibilities":"Lead a portfolio of data center programs from planning through execution, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery across cross-functional teams
Drive strategic planning and roadmapping in partnership with leadership, translating organizational priorities into executable program plans
Own end-to-end program execution, driving accountability, resolving blockers, and maintaining momentum across multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment
Proactively manage risks and escalations, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans across the portfolio

Preferred Qualifications
Deep knowledge of data center operations, including infrastructure lifecycle, capacity planning, and construction or commissioning processes
Proficiency in program management tools, methodologies, and techniques, including scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and metrics tracking
Significant experience navigating complex, matrixed organizations across hardware, software, and operations teams within large-scale technology companies
Prior experience partnering with Finance, Real Estate, or Supply Chain on capital programs, budget planning, and resource forecasting
Expert level ability to communicate directly and clearly, with an emphasis on clarity, precision, and active listening
Proven ability to lead a team, and define and drive success measures across both individual programs and a broader portfolio
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; OR, equivalent job-related experience.
8+ years pf Program Management experience with a proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale data center or infrastructure programs
2+ years of people management experience, with demonstrated ability to build, develop, and retain high-performing teams
Experience in Data Center designs and operations, or similar critical infrastructure environments
