WAGE RANGE: $72,000 - 80,000/annually

JOB SUMMARY: Catholic Charities is seeking a culturally responsive, trauma-informed, dynamic, and self-motivated Program Manager III to serve in a high-level, flexible leadership role. This position will provide program management support across multiple Catholic Charities residential sites, with assignments based on organizational needs.

The ideal candidate is an adaptable leader who can quickly integrate into different teams, maintain high-quality program operations, and provide consistent, effective leadership wherever assigned.

The Program Manager III is responsible for more than one program and/or manages a program with considerable complexity and/or larger numbers of staff; fundraising and funding proposals and contract compliance activities. They will provide input on policy and procedure changes, policy implementation, planning and development of new and existing program services, and budget preparation and management.

They are responsible for the delivery of client services within Catholic Charities standards, and legal and licensure requirements. They will participate in conferences, training, and in divisional and agency strategic planning process, as requested by the direct supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Ensures the program meets accreditation, licensing and best practice standards.
  2. Ensures data tracking and compliance requirements are met. Prepares reports and statistical information as requested.
  3. In conjunction with HR, recruits, hires, coaches, reviews, supervises and terminates as necessary program staff members. Builds team of professional colleagues.
  4. Collaborates with the Volunteer Coordinator in the placement of volunteers and interns.
  5. Responsible for reviewing and ensuring the relevance, accuracy, and timeliness of data and reporting for purposes of accountability and client outcomes.
  6. Works with direct supervisor to develop and implement program vision and goals.
  7. Connects with the community via outreach, and through additional methods, to ensure program information is accessible and available to the community.
  8. Works with supervisor and Development staff to monitor and/or negotiate contracts/grants as required.
  9. Develops and implements multiple and/or complex program strategies and goals.
  10. Responsible for ensuring the timely completion of program billing.
  11. Manages multiple program budgets, including revenue, expenses, and capital budgets.
  12. Manages multiple contracts for multiple programs.
  13. Develops outcome evaluation plan in conjunction with other agency stakeholders.
  14. Develops and maintains relationships with external contract managers.
  15. Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERTISE:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or 5 years minimum of relevant experience.
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance coverage.
  • Ability to work with diverse and/or low-income populations, including those who may be experiencing homelessness, unstable housing, and/or mental illness required.
  • Current social work licensure (or eligibility), if required by program.
  • Must have at least three (3) years of supervisory experience.
