Position Responsibilities

The Program Manager will support multiple projects related to software support for our internal client business processes and software programs that deliver solutions for our internal and external customers. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate the organization's programs, ensuring they are aligned with business objectives and operational strategies while identifying and mitigating risks to solve production or creative needs. This position is responsible for efficiently assisting teams to deliver project goals and commitments in an agile environment through tracking progress, resolving dependencies, evaluating risks, communicating status to upper management and program stakeholders, and engaging teams to achieve goals. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, strong communication, and providing quality product solutions is essential for success in this role.


Key Tasks

  • Communicate program status, progress, and performance to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Directly manage multiple projects; develop and maintain effective project plans and timelines and execute against them
  • Orchestrate work across multiple cross-functional teams, creating a collaborative and transparent environment among stakeholders
  • Strategize and implement change management plans, in coordination with business and technology teams, to ensure the successful rollout of operational process improvements or new products; this includes partnering with key stakeholders to realize change management with minimal operational friction, crafting communication to key stakeholders, contributing to the creation of guidance and best practices documentation, and directly addressing challenges that may emerge during rollout
  • Establish a reliable and visible cadence for portfolio reviews, decision-making, prioritization, and resource management to ensure improvements are measurable and have high-impact
  • Work across Business and Technology teams as assigned to create project plans that track milestones and deliver on the defined roadmap vision
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, sprint planning, daily scrums, stakeholder meetings, and software demonstrations
  • Responsible for the successful and timely implementation of all business and IT-relevant tasks associated with projects
  • Guide the organization to work under our internal project/product methodology   
  • Work closely with product owners in backlog management and continuous delivery of features

  • Experience with Agile, SCRUM and other Software Development Processes
  • Experience with infrastructure tools such as MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, DevOps, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

Education & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects through formal or informal Project Manager role(s)
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or other related degree preferred
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Experience in the Finance industry preferred
  • Located in Minnesota and able to work in person out of our Minnetonka, MN or Marshall, MN offices
