JOB SUMMARY:

The Program Manager will be responsible for planning and execution of multiple technology initiatives for UDX Operations and Technology. This role will be a mix of hands-on program and project management across multiple initiatives. This role will be responsible for providing supervision, cross-functional leadership and strategic direction on all aspects of the program.

The role will focus on developing and managing program plans defining the implementation of application and infrastructure needs aligned to multiple business groups. This could include Cyber Security Platforms, Creative Media, Studio, Core Operations, Marketing & Sales, Revenue Operations, Merchandising, Food & Beverage, Finance, and Human Resources across UDX. The Program Manager will be responsible for working with teams to ensure alignment on proposed solutions and will serve as the point of contact on programs, initiatives, and established budgets; in addition to creating project plans, resource plans, risk identification, risk mitigation, and timelines. This role also comprises of international project work including, but not limited to, Universal Studios Japan and New Ventures global projects across Digital & O&T Platforms.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop & manage project plans, high-level milestones, GANTT charts, resource plans, and supporting budgets.
  • Oversee processes, PI Planning, and Program execution including creation and ownership of timelines and budgets. Facilitate changes to plans and the impacts of those changes, including budgets
  • Provide input to avoid Program bottlenecks. Escalate impediments and manage risks by providing mitigation recommendations
  • Communicate Program Information, status, and key health metrics to stakeholders. Facilitate inter-team communication and resolution of Program-level dependencies
  • Run status meetings and/or scrum team ceremonies (daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc. as needed)
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher required. Information Technology or technical degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager or Program Manager.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting/ managing multiple Project Managers or Scrum Masters simultaneously
  • ; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • PMP and CSM certs are preferred
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  • Proven oral, written, and business presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines
  • Self-motivated & accountable, with a high level of commitment to responsibility.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to work across multiple groups.
  • Schedule flexibility is needed to meet time zone needs.
