Job Summary
We are seeking a warehouse Operations Manager for our busy steel warehouse. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and guidance to the overall safe and productive operation of all warehouse employees, activities and machinery. 
Responsibilities 
  • Management of all facility operations, including raw material receiving, warehousing, processing and delivery.
  • Coordinating logistics including coordination of maintenance and service of company owned tractors and trailers. Also manage DOT compliance, equipment and drivers.
  • Training, development and coaching of production and transportation employees.
  • Promoting and facilitating good communication with all departments. 
  • Ensuring safe work practices are implemented and observed by all employees. 
  • Responsible for generating and implementing work strategies for quality customer service, maximum efficiency and company/employee growth.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Graduate
  • Must have reliable transportation and Driver’s License
  • be able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Exempt/Full Time
  • be available to work 5 days per week (M-F) from 7:30 am  to 4:30 pm (times may sometimes vary).
  • must have steel toe shoes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
  • Previous experience as an Operations Manager is preferred
  • Deep understanding of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
Additional Qualifications
  • College Degree or advanced courses in manufacturing, business or engineering.
  • Prior knowledge of steel distribution and processing.
  • Knowledge of DOT equipment and driver requirements.
  • Prior management experience.
  • Computer skills using the suite of Microsoft Office Tools.
