A fast-growing South Florida automotive company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day production and warehouse operations at a large-scale facility. The company specializes in premium automotive builds and modifications for customers nationwide and is continuing to scale operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced automotive environment, enjoys building strong teams, and has a passion for improving processes, increasing output, and driving accountability.
The Operations Manager will oversee production, warehouse coordination, and team performance within a 50,000+ square foot facility. This leader will be responsible for maintaining efficient workflows, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and helping scale operations to meet increasing customer demand.
What We're Looking For:
Operations leadership experience in automotive manufacturing, vehicle customization, collision repair, restoration, dealership reconditioning, or related automotive production environments
Strong background in lean manufacturing / continuous improvement (or willingness to learn)
Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced production setting
Proven ability to improve throughput, reduce inefficiencies, and scale operations
Comfortable balancing multiple priorities and making decisions under pressure
Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach and motivate teams

Key Responsibilities:

Drive lean manufacturing initiatives including process improvement, standardized work, visual management, and workflow optimization. Build a culture centered around accountability and operational discipline.
Champion a strong safety culture through training, accountability, and proactive operational improvements.
Help expand production capacity within the current facility by improving workflows, maximizing team efficiency, and planning for future growth.
Partner with team leads to maintain high standards of workmanship, reduce rework, and improve consistency throughout the operation.
Hire, coach, and develop employees while creating a high-performance culture built on communication, ownership, and accountability.
Work closely with warehouse leadership to maintain material flow, resolve shortages, and support efficient production sequencing.
