Manager / Assistant Buyer

Siren Boutique, an award-winning, locally owned, women-led contemporary fashion boutique in San Francisco, is seeking an experienced Manager / Assistant Buyer to join our leadership team.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role working closely with the owner in a growing independent business. The ideal candidate is equally passionate about styling and customer experience as they are about operations, inventory management, merchandising, and sales analysis.

What You'll Do

  • Support daily store operations and collaborate with the owner on business strategy and growth initiatives
  • Manage inventory flow, receiving, tagging, stock organization, and backroom operations
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure the sales floor is fully replenished and presentation-ready
  • Assist with buying, reorders, and merchandise planning
  • Enter purchase orders and help manage the open-to-buy plan
  • Oversee Shopify and POS operations
  • Train, coach, and support team members
  • Lead by example to drive sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Analyze sales performance, product demand, and customer buying patterns
  • Track sales trends and assist with forecasting and inventory planning
  • Resolve customer concerns with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment
  • Identify operational challenges and proactively implement solutions
