BizTek People is in search for an experienced Process Improvement Consultant (Healthcare Operations) for our client in Portland, OR!

Contract: 13 weeks with possible extension to 26 weeks
Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 8:00 AMโ€“5:00 PM
Work Type: Hybrid (local candidates required)

Overview

Seeking an experienced Performance Improvement Consultant to support ambulatory access and operational improvement initiatives within a large healthcare environment. This role partners with leadership and operational teams to improve patient access, optimize workflows, and drive Lean-based performance improvement strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Lean and A3-based improvement initiatives
  • Partner with leadership on strategic operational goals
  • Facilitate large-scale access and performance improvement projects
  • Coach leaders and teams on Lean methodologies and change management
  • Develop and deliver training related to operational excellence and patient access
  • Establish sustainable workflows and management systems

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Healthcare, Business, Engineering, Science, or related field
  • 7+ years of performance improvement experience
  • OR
  • 5+ years of healthcare experience plus 3+ years in leadership/performance improvement
  • Hands-on Lean experience
  • Experience facilitating training and coaching teams
  • Lean Certification requiredPreferred Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s degree
  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Experience working with senior leadership
  • Six Sigma, Change Management, or EPIC Cadence certifications preferred
