Duties and Responsibilities

  • Facility Startup & Project Support: Support RAM facility expansion and startup readiness activities, including project tracking, action item coordination, and cross-functional task management. Help ensure that documentation, processes, and production readiness activities stay organized and on schedule as new facility operations come online.
  • Manufacturing Documentation: Assist with the creation and revision of manufacturing documentation, including build books, work instructions, visual aids, and training materials. Help organize and maintain engineering documentation, process information, and production records in a manner that supports operational consistency and quality compliance across RAM facilities.
  • Manufacturing Engineering Support: Support Manufacturing Engineering activities including process flow documentation, time studies, workstation layout development, and process improvement initiatives. Collect and organize production data that feeds directly into engineering analysis and improvement efforts.
  • Lean Manufacturing & Operational Excellence: Assist with Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence projects across RAM's manufacturing operations. Support continuous improvement initiatives by gathering data, mapping processes, and helping track improvement outcomes against defined goals.
  • Reporting & Cross-Functional Communication: Assist with preparing presentations, reports, and project updates that communicate progress to engineering and operations leadership. Support cross-functional communication between Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams, helping keep stakeholders aligned and informed across active projects.
Requirements:
  • Legal: Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug screening.
  • ITAR: Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum (due to ITAR requirements).
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a closely related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Software such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for data organization, documentation, and reporting.
  • Genuine interest in manufacturing, process improvement, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with technical documentation, CAD, process mapping, or Lean Manufacturing concepts is a plus.
