Description
Position Overview:
Freezing Point is the fastest growing frozen beverage company in the US and the maker of Frazil, 100% Juice Frazil, Frazil Energy, and Café Tango! As a growing company we are looking for individuals with drive, who have an ownership/roll-up-your-sleeves mentality, who want to be part of a fast-paced company that is growing at an explosive rate!
As the Operations Intern, you will play a crucial role within the Warehouse Operations Department, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of the company's logistics and operational processes.
This position provides support across various warehouse operations, ensuring that the workflow aligns with Frazil's standards for quality and reliability. You will work closely with the Warehouse Operations Manager and other operations personnel to enhance inventory management, order processing, and overall productivity.
Additionally, this role will involve promoting process improvements and maintaining compliance with both domestic and international shipping requirements. The position is ideal for a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who is eager to gain hands-on experience in operations and supply chain management.
Timeline
This is a 12-week internship spanning from January - April 2027.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality checks on orders and shipments to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with company standards before products leave the warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, receiving, and shipping operations.
  • Assist in the creation of BOLs for domestic and international shipping.
  • Support the Pick & Pack Manager process by overseeing order fulfillment, ensuring all orders are accurately printed, processed, and closed in SAP.
  • Audit and improve warehouse organization and layout to increase efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of various areas in the department and identify areas for improvement.
  • Promote on time delivery to our customers by addressing efficiency, productivity process constraints and bottlenecks and providing process improvements to the current process.
  • Possess a continuous improvement mindset and implement lean practices in all aspects of work.
  • Communicate concerns with inventory levels, systems, issues etc.
  • Occasionally assist in picking activities as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:
  • Enrolled in a 4-yr educational institution pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related business field.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent computer skills - Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Driver's license

Preferred Qualifications & Competencies:
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Spanish - written, spoken
  • Basic knowledge of trucking/transportation industry
  • SAP B1 experience

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
  • Fully onsite position in Salt Lake City, UT.

  • Continuously walking, standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, and reaching in all directions. Includes climbing stairs and ladders.
  • Driving between warehouses.
