THE ROLE
The Operations Director is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of all facility and event operations for the Regent Bank Amphitheater. This role ensures operational readiness, efficient event execution, and a high-quality guest and client experience.
The Director of Operations coordinates cross-functional teams, manages event logistics, and oversees facility operations to support a wide range of events, including conventions, concerts, and outdoor programming.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Overseeing all aspects of venue operations, including Engineering, Building & Grounds, Technical Services, Event Services (including ADA compliance), Public Safety, Security, Custodial, and Parking.
  • Coordinates operational activities with internal departments, clients, promoters, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Ensures facility readiness for all events, including conventions, concerts, and outdoor amphitheater programming.
  • Implements and enforces facility policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Anticipates operational challenges and proactively develops solutions to ensure minimal disruption to events.
  • Oversees day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance of the physical plant and systems.
  • Serves as Director on Duty (DOD) for events, providing on-site leadership and decision-making support.
  • Maintains safety compliance, including oversight of MSDS logs and adherence to OSHA and life safety standards.
  • Supports communication across departments to ensure all teams are aligned on event requirements and operational plans.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Legends Global's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding; disciplining employees in conjunction with Human Resources; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 4-6+ years of experience in venue, facility, or event operations within arenas, convention centers, amphitheaters, or similar environments.
  • 1-3+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting large-scale events, including conventions, concerts, and multi-day programs.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Skills and Abilities
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proven ability to supervise staff and support team performance.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving mindset.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with facility management or maintenance systems (CMMS) preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
