**Requirements**:
  • Active AWS Cloud Practitioner certification
  • Experience with database administration in AWS for any of the following: Postgres, DynamoDB, MySQL, and RedShift with highly available environments and failover/ DR solutions.
  • Experience with database administration in Oracle, SQL Server and associated using high availability and disaster recovery tools
  • Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays from 6 am EST - 6 pm EST on site (you can pick two additional days during the week to work two 8 hour remote shifts to get to 40 hours weekly)

Title: Cloud Operational DBA
Location(s): hybrid on site in one of the following locations:
  • Wayne, PA
  • Charlotte, NC
  • Plano, TX
  • Scottsdale, AZ

Duration: 6 months contract to hire
Pay rate on contract: $50 - $60 per hour contingent upon experience
Salary upon conversion: $110,000 - $130,000 annually contingent upon experience
Shift: Saturday and Sundays from 6 am EST - 6 pm EST on site (you can pick two additional days during the week to work two 8 hour remote shifts to get to 40 hours weekly)
Job Description:
  • Three to five years database administrator, data modeling, business systems analyst, development, or related work experience. Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
  • Advanced database administration in AWS for Postgres, DynamoDB, MySQL, and RedShift with highly available environments and failover/ DR solutions.
  • Advanced database administration in Oracle, SQL Server and associated using high availability (Oracle RAC, SQL Server Availability Groups) and disaster recovery tools (Oracle Dataguard).Linux system administration, including Redhat-based systems like Centos or Oracle Linux, monitoring systems - developing scripts and using applications to monitor systems and databases and Support development teams in tasks related to database including performance tuning, DB migration to new platform, assistance to DB query and structure definition.
