Job Description
The Customer Account Assistant reports to the Customer Service Supervisor, collaborating closely with team members from all departments to ensure customer expectations are met. Attention to detail, a positive demeanor, critical thinking skills and an aptitude for learning new computer systems are essential to being successful in this role.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist with the data entry of manufacturing instructions in to the systems used for producing the customer finished product.
  • Contact various manufacturing departments to gather production data on customer jobs.
  • Assist the Account Manager in managing multiple component projects through purchasing, manufacturing, final assembly, shipping and invoicing.
  • Communicate with customers and team members on status of projects.
  • Problem identification and solving.
  • Assist other Account Assistants as available.
  • Credit checking of new customers.
  • Customer demand entry from forecasts and purchase orders.
  • Item Master Setup.
  • Bill of Material Setup.
  • Problem solving.
  • Priority setting for internal operations per customer requirements.
  • Preparation of reports
  • Documenting customer specific requirements.
  • May coordinate production of components with other internal plants and/or external vendors as required.
  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

This is a day shift position.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of relevant administrative/operational support in manufacturing operations or office environment, or demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through work experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Disclosure Statement:
The national pay range for this role is $40,700 to 57,700 annually. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD offers benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus tuition assistance, maternity leave, adoption assistance, and employer/partner discounts.
