Role Summary
Rowan is seeking a highly analytical People Operations Analyst to support data-driven decision making across compensation, benefits, workforce planning, and People Operations. This role will be responsible for maintaining and analyzing critical people data, supporting compensation and incentive programs, and translating data into clear insights and compelling narratives that enable leaders to make informed workforce and talent decisions.
The People Operations Analyst will partner closely with People Operations, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development & People Programs, People Business Partners, and executive leadership to provide reporting, analysis, business insights, and program administration across a variety of people-related initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, solving complex problems, and helping build scalable people processes in a high-growth environment.
Travel: Ability to travel up to (10%) to company location or for meetings.
Location: Denver, CO (hybrid in-office role)
Compensation: $90k - $105k (Offers Bonus)
Essential Responsibilities :
Compensation & Total Rewards
  • Conduct market compensation benchmarking and competitive pay analysis
  • Support compensation planning, job architecture, leveling, and salary structure administration
  • Analyze internal and external compensation trends and provide recommendations
  • Support annual compensation review processes and pay equity analysis
  • Maintain compensation data integrity and reporting

Long-Term Incentive & Bonus Program Administration
  • Track and maintain Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) participant data and vesting schedules
  • Support LTIP reporting, forecasting, and executive-level analysis
  • Administer and analyze bonus tracking and repayment programs
  • Maintain other compensation program tracking and payout reporting
  • Partner with Finance to ensure incentive and bonus program accuracy

Benefits & Employee Programs
  • Conduct employee benefits surveys and market benchmarking
  • Analyze benefits utilization, participation, and cost trends
  • Support benefits strategy recommendations through data and reporting
  • Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders on benefits reporting needs

Workforce Planning & People Analytics
  • Develop and maintain headcount dashboards and workforce reports
  • Support quarterly workforce planning and headcount forecasting processes
  • Analyze hiring, attrition, retention, and organizational trends
  • Provide executive reporting and workforce insights to support strategic planning
  • Develop metrics and dashboards to support People & Culture and business leaders

Data, Reporting & Systems
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of People data across systems
  • Build recurring reports and dashboards for leadership and the People team
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through workforce data analysis
  • Support HRIS reporting, audits, and data governance initiatives
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and executive requests

Required Education, Skills, and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in People Analytics, Compensation, HR Operations, Finance, Workforce Planning, or a related analytical role
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data modeling
  • Experience building dashboards and reports for leadership audiences
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to translate data into actionable business insights

Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting compensation, benefits, or total rewards programs
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, and reporting platforms
  • Experience with workforce planning and headcount forecasting
  • Experience in a high-growth, infrastructure, technology, construction, or data center environment
