Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and hands-on Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, financial reporting, and a growing accounting team. This role will have significant visibility to leadership and will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while strengthening processes, controls, and team performance. The ideal candidate is someone who can roll up their sleeves, solve problems, build structure where it doesn't exist, and lead a team through a period of growth and change.


Accounting Manager Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion
โ€ข Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, financial statements, and supporting schedules
โ€ข Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and resolve complex accounting issues
โ€ข Oversee general ledger activity, including AP, AR, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other accounting functions
โ€ข Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members while managing workload, priorities, and performance
โ€ข Establish and improve accounting policies, procedures, SOPs, and internal controls
โ€ข Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting, reduce manual work, and increase efficiency
โ€ข Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, and financial analysis


Accounting Manager Qualifications:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
โ€ข 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
โ€ข 3+ years of management or team leadership experience preferred
