Eastern Environmental Solutions, Inc. is an established and growing environmental remediation company seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to join our leadership team.  The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in waste disposal, DOT compliance, and supervisory roles, with a strong commitment to safety, regulatory excellence, and operational efficiency.
 
For Compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $72,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year.  Compensation will be based on experience, license and other factors permitted by law.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·         Oversee day-to-day field and facility operations related to environmental remediation and hazardous/non-hazardous waste         management.
·         Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT, NYSDEC, EPA, OSHA, and other applicable standards.
·         Supervise, train, and support field staff and drivers to maintain safety, quality, and productivity.
·         Coordinate transportation and disposal logistics for various types of waste streams.
·         Implement and improve operational policies and procedures to maximize performance and minimize risk.
·         Collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
·         Maintain accurate records, including manifests, inspection logs, and incident reports.
Qualifications:
·         5+ years of experience in environmental remediation, waste disposal, or related industry.
·         In-depth knowledge of DOT compliance and transport regulations.
·         Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
·         Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
·         Valid driver’s license; CDL and HAZWOPER certifications are a plus.
·         Experience with scheduling, routing, and job costing preferred.
