Job description

Regional Manager

The Regional Manager will oversee the management of all salon locations, each managed by a Salon Manager. This role is responsible for maintaining high customer service standards, continued development of staff and leading the Salon Managers to achieve performance goals of their individual shops. The Regional Manager will report directly to the Operation manager and collaborate closely with each Salon Manager.

Hours: 4 hrs expected weekly

Pay: $30-35/hour + 3% commission


Job Description

  • Facilitates new inventory items getting added to Mango Mint via admin
  • Makes staff aware of new products via Basecamp
  • Trigger physical inventory checks by shop manager when issues are found
  • Meets with shop managers bi-weekly
  • Facilitates manager meetings bi monthly
  • Helps plan staff meetings with shop manager
  • Facilitates company wide team meetings
  • Collaborates quarterly schedules from shop managers and then edits master schedule to post out to staff
  • Assists shop manager in the creation of new staff profiles & implementing new schedules as needed (add them to basecamp, hit hire on bamboo, set up appropriate permissions on salon software)
  • Addresses all team issues with the support of the operations manager (adds issues to agendas to workshop)
  • Has awareness and understanding of yearly education calendar to lead team effectively (created by Education Manager+Ops Manager)
  • Ensures that admin, apprentice and shadow shift issues or changes are communicated to managers
  • Is on call for shop emergencies in support of shop managers and when shop manager is away
  • Facilitates annual reviews for managers
  • Participates when needed and ensures completion of reviews for all staff
  • Facilitates backbar orders(receives product requests from shop managers and then compiles and sends to West Coast liaison)
  • Ensure that promos are inventoried, prices are accurate, stock is correct, ensure that staff are aware of any new products or promos
  • Plans Christmas party & summer outing
