We specialize in providing custom Division 5 Miscellaneous Steel for a wide range of commercial projects, including office buildings, hospitals, schools, data centers, and more. Our team is committed to helping clients manage costs, meet design requirements, and deliver high-quality steel products-such as wire mesh data center server room cages, handrails, railings, and mezzanines-on time and within budget.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with experience in the steel industry to join our team. This is an on-site, full-time position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects from contract award through final completion, ensuring efficient execution, clear communication, and adherence to budget and timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish.
    Comprehend and interpret contract and shop drawings.
    Perform material and labor takeoffs.
    Utilize AutoCAD and/or Tekla to perform light steel detailing and make corrections to shop drawings.
    Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, engineers, and architects to ensure the successful execution of projects.
    Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, transmittals, change orders, material takeoffs, and estimates.
    Attend site visits, field meetings, and subcontractor meetings as needed.
    Manage logistics and inspections throughout project life cycles.
    Prioritize assignments while handling multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the commercial construction or steel industry. 
    A degree in Architecture or Engineering is required.
    Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
    Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
