Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a busy surgical unit in Chicago, IL, with Epic EMR experience and on-call requirements.

Details
  • Works in a busy OR department within a hospital setting in Chicago, IL
  • Surgical caseload includes open heart surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, and a wide variety of other medical and surgical cases
  • Day shift schedule: 06:45โ€“15:15, five 8-hour shifts Mondayโ€“Friday
  • Shift hours may extend depending on caseload
  • On-call required: one night every two weeks and one weekend every six weeks
  • Epic EMR used; experience is required
Requirements
  • Active IL RN license required
  • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS (all from American Heart Association or Red Cross), NIHSS, and DCI/BVP
  • Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Date of birth (DOB) and Social Security Number (SSN) required for consideration
