Title Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Orthopedic Surgery Summary We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) with strong orthopedic experience to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in the Operating Room while supporting orthopedic and general surgical procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment. Responsibilities Provide patient care during orthopedic and general surgical procedures Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations Support neuro/spine, robotics, urology, and general surgery cases Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment Maintain sterile techniques and ensure patient safety throughout procedures Document patient care accurately using the Epic charting system Participate in on-call rotations and float within scope when needed Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and healthcare staff Requirements Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience Strong orthopedic OR experience required Experience with scrub orthopedic surgeries and spinal fusion preferred Community hospital experience required Travel experience required Experience in teaching hospitals or Level 3 trauma centers preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Education Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program Certifications & Licensure Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required BLS certification required Skills Orthopedic surgery General surgery Neuro/Spine procedures Robotics Urology Electrosurgical units Fiber optic light sources/cords Epic charting system Schedule Day Shift Mid-Day Shift On-call rotation required Apply Interested candidates can apply with an updated resume and certification details.
