Position: First (1st) Shift Sanitation
Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday
Pay: $19.60 per hour
The core responsibilities of this role include:
Perform routine and deep cleaning of the facility, including work areas, equipment, floors, docks, and common spaces, for the majority of the shift.
Clean, sanitize, and maintain warehouse equipment, storage areas, and materials to meet company and regulatory standards.
Safely handle, mix, and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA, MSDS, and company safety guidelines.
Conduct daily inspections of cleaning tools and equipment; report any damage or safety concerns.
Maintain accurate sanitation logs, checklists, and required documentation.
Assist with preparation for audits, inspections, and physical inventory activities as needed.
Ensure proper waste removal and disposal of trash, recyclables, and hazardous materials.
Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work environment at all times.
Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately. safe, secure, and accurate filling of customer orders. Replenish or pick product with direction from pick sheets or handheld computer. Obtains merchandise from bins or shelves to fill the order.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Clean warehouse utilizing a variety of equipment and products.
  • Remove all refuse from offices and building daily.
  • Repair damaged pallets.
  • Remove ice and snow from walkways and parking lots.
  • Wash and sweep inside of trailers.
  • Clean break room and work areas.
  • Maintain exterior property, keeping it clean and orderly.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program with the first 30 days of employment
  • 0-6 months general warehouse experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
