Job description

Operating Room Registered Nurse

The Operating Room RN will be present and circulate for all surgical and endoscopic procedures performed in the Ambulatory Surgery Center. Eligible for a $1,000 Sign On Bonus Join our team as a Casual Operating Room Registered Nurse, supporting our five Surgery Centers located in Woodbury, Eagan, Vadnais Heights, Plymouth, and Minnetonka. In this role, you will have a designated home base and will float to other locations as needed, providing exceptional patient care and teamwork across our network. This is a flexible, casual role—you'll have the opportunity to pick up shifts based on your availability and department needs, with no set or guaranteed schedule. The OR RN will: Required to collect, interpret, record, and communicate pertinent data that are relative to the patient's care in the operating room. Utilizes data collected to plan for intraoperative nursing care. Provides direct care to patients to meet their physical and psychological needs. Continuously evaluates the patient's response to nursing interventions and modifies the nursing plan of care to achieve optimal outcome. Summit's hiring range for this position is $40.77 to $54.33 per hour. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation. In addition to our base salary, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package that aligns with our vision of leading a healthy and active lifestyle. If you are hired at Summit, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, experience, and internal equity.

Education

Associates or better in Nursing or related field. Bachelors or better in Nursing or related field.

Experience

Minimum of 6 months of Operating Room (Scrubbing and Circulating) experience required. Orthopedic and/or pain management experience is preferred.
