PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESย 

  • Identify,ย structureย andย execute high profile transactions across the capital structure in transactions that may include leveragedย buyouts, take privates, add-onย acquisitionsย and recapitalizations.ย 

  • Source potential investors, lead conversations with fund investors to close committed capital.ย 

  • Presentย initialย thesis & investment summary on opportunities to the Investment Committee.ย 

  • Processย committee'sย feedbackย and refine investment presentation forย approvalย 

  • Present and negotiate acquisition offers forย acquisitionย candidates.ย 

  • Lead the pre-acquisition due diligence team and provide detailed and insightful analysis of the primary risks and opportunities associated with a target company.ย 

  • Manage dealย closing structure, working with Legal and Finance to complete theย closing process effectively and efficiently.ย ย 

  • Responsible for value creation as a strategic partner working closely with selected portfolio companies to support the execution of agreed upon strategic plans and initiatives, including cost efficiency programs, business rationalization, leadership assessments, recruiting, sales, marketing, product management,ย alliancesย and strategic partnershipsย 

  • Establish credibility throughout the organization as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.ย 

  • Provide guidance, leadership, and at times direct execution on the investment operational plans to drive better performance andย ultimately provide, returns to the firmโ€™s investorsย 

  • Coordinate governance and board issues,ย establishingย dashboards, and reporting tools toย monitorย the investment progress, as well as bonus and performance plans with the Board of each respective portfolio company.ย 

  • Establish and nurture relationships with entrepreneurs to earn their confidence in order to facilitate the sale (BDCโ€™s acquisition) of their company and to generate future investment opportunities.ย 

  • Refine the Leadership Index for the opportunity, whileย applyingย the Leadership Index and assessing the management team.ย ย 

  • Develop and implement strategic goals for the firm and for portfolio companies.ย ย 

  • Establish metrics andย dashboardย for monitoring individual investments, create plans to improveย performanceย working with the Dragon Performance Group and One Dragon Services, along with portfolio management team.ย 

  • Carefullyย monitorย cash management, including capital requirements, investment funding, manage reserves, etc.ย 


REQUIREMENTSย 

  • A former CEO or COO in SaaS based recurringย revenueย model,ย technologyย company.ย 

  • Private equity firm experience inย capitalย raising, deal transactionsย andย significant experienceย in anย operationalย role.ย 

  • Bachelorโ€™sโ€ฏdegreeโ€ฏrequired, MBAโ€ฏor advanced degree highly desirable.ย 

  • Experience as a senior leader or operating partner such as a CEOย orย COO;ย with a history in Sales or Marketing.ย 

  • Leadership at a Software / SaaS company with cloud solutions and recurring revenues.ย Preferably going from a licensing model to a SaaS model.ย 

  • Strong financial discipline and experience.ย 

  • Willingness toย workย a flexible schedule that may include frequent travel.ย 

  • Successfulย track recordย of working with and building relationships with the finance community including investment bankers, venture and private equity professionals, venture capital partners, family offices, and other financial professionals and institutions.ย 

  • Works well with a smallย team of high performers, in an intense and exciting environment.ย 

  • Heavy mergers and acquisitions experience.ย
