Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• General case focused OR position across 21 operating room suites
• Day shift with variable start times between 5:30 AM and 7:00 AM
• On-call required with 30-minute response time and no call room available
• End of shift (EOS) call: 8-10 slots available for AM shifts
• Overnight call slots (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM): 1-2 slots for AM shifts, 5-10 slots for PM shifts
• Weekend call: 1-2 weekends per 8-week call schedule depending on specialty
• No weekend rotation required
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Required certification: BLS
• Must be proficient in Neuro/ENT procedures including spine surgeries (laminectomies, ALIFs, fusions, and discectomies), cranial surgeries, and ENT procedures
• Must be proficient in orthopedic procedures including fractures, anterior hips, total joints, ortho spine, and hand/podiatry cases using Hanna Table
• Must be proficient in general cases including breasts/plastics, vascular, laparoscopic, general oncology, genitourinary, and gynecology
• Navigation system experience required: Medtronic (cranial and spine), Medtronic Stealth (ENT), and Stryker and Synaptive Navigation (cranial)
• Robot (XI) experience preferred but agency staff will not be trained on robots unless strong background is demonstrated and more than one contract is anticipated
• EMR: EPIC; IV Pump: Alaris; Medication Dispensing: Pyxis
• Cross-trained to General Main OR specialty and Urology Center; no floating to other hospital sites
• Scrubs are provided; scrub caps are allowed but must be covered by a surgical bouffant
• Free parking available with shuttle service to and from parking structure

Facility:

This facility is a large 636-bed acute care hospital holding Magnet Designation and recognized as a Level III Trauma Center and Level III NICU. It also serves as a Primary Stroke Center, reflecting its commitment to comprehensive and specialized patient care. The OR department is well-supported with charge RNs, leads, supervisors, managers, surgeons, and a dedicated anesthesia team available across AM, PM, and weekend shifts.
