The Storage Operator manages the safe receipt, storage, conditioning, and shipping of grain commodities. This role ensures optimal grain quality while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient facility operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Equipment: Run conveyors, legs, augers, dryers, and digital inventory systems.
  • Monitor Quality: Inspect, sample, grade, and monitor grain temperature and moisture levels.
  • Maintain Safety: Clean bins, clear dust, and follow strict OSHA grain-handling regulations.
  • Load/Unload: Guide trucks and railcars, open gates, and document inbound/outbound weights.
