Job description

ABOUT RETURNPRO

Retailers have spent decades perfecting the forward supply chain. Returns are the last unsolved frontier, and ReturnPro is solving it. We built the first fully integrated, technology-enabled reverse logistics and ReCommerce platform, unifying distribution, refurbishment, recovery analytics, and disposition strategy into one scalable network.

In the U.S. alone, returns represent an $850B annual challenge. They erode margins, disrupt logistics, damage customer experience, and generate enormous waste. Through our integrated solution spanning SaaS technology, reverse supply chain services, and recommerce, we turn returns from a cost center into a recovery engine. To date, we've diverted more than 100 million pounds of product from landfills, and we're just getting started.

This is not incremental improvement. This is redefining how retailers handle returns at scale. At ReturnPro, returns are a strategic advantage. We are consolidating and professionalizing this space with disciplined execution, data-driven performance, and measurable results.

REVERSE LOGISTICS

SITE P&L OWNERSHIP

CLIENT PARTNERSHIP

PEOPLE LEADERSHIP

THE OPPORTUNITY

ReturnPro is seeking a performance-driven, operationally rigorous General Manager to own end-to-end execution at one of our reverse logistics 3PL facilities. As the senior site leader, you will be accountable for safety, growth, profitability, productivity, quality, and cost across the full scope of facility operations, including return to vendor, liquidation, fulfillment, testing, and repair.

You will lead a team of managers, supervisors, and hourly teammates; own site P&L, budget, and GL; build and strengthen client relationships in support of a keep-and-grow strategy; and drive continuous improvement across the operation. This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives on accountability, sets a high bar, and wants to operate at the leading edge of a fast-growing industry.

WHAT YOUโ€™LL OWN

Operations & Performance

  • Own daily and weekly operational plans across the facility, meeting or exceeding client SLAs and service level expectations while achieving maximum operating efficiency
  • Set operational goals based on KPIs and client SLAs; drive throughput, accuracy, and quality across receiving, check-in, testing, put-away, pick, pack, and ship
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and control; review reports and identify areas for improvement across productivity, accuracy, quality, and expense metrics
  • Balance labor availability against volume requirements daily; review business metrics to plan staffing for optimum department operations
  • Coordinate and monitor operations to ensure production rates stay consistent with business plan, reducing irregularities and damages
  • Manage site P&L, budget, and General Ledger; analyze financial performance and deliver profitability against plan

Client & Business Partnership

  • Build client relationships in support of a keep-and-grow strategy; partner with key account management on QBRs and monthly reporting requirements
  • Partner with Industrial Engineers and other facility leaders to build, document, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures and best practices
  • Investigate operational errors to determine root cause and recommend corrective action; maintain audit-ready documentation at all times
  • Embed lean and continuous improvement discipline across the facility, prioritizing the highest-impact gaps and driving measurable results
  • Interact effectively at multiple levels; demonstrate on-the-floor listening and follow-up that builds trust with clients, teammates, and corporate partners

People Leadership & Culture

  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent through active coaching and top grading; create and live a culture of accountability
  • Manage a diverse teammate population; nurture positive teammate relations and a productive work environment across all shifts
  • Develop, implement, and direct equipment preventative maintenance programs and facility building and grounds upkeep
  • Ensure equipment and work areas are neat, clean, and well organized; enforce corporate policies and procedures across the site
  • Implement and observe all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe, compliant, OSHA-ready work environment

WHAT YOU BRING

Experience & Background

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, logistics, management, or related field
  • 8+ years leading 200+ associates in logistics, warehouse, or inventory operations, with demonstrated management qualifications
  • High level of reverse logistics and distribution business acumen; track record managing multi-shift, multi-program operations
  • P&L ownership: budget preparation, GL management, cost control, and performance reporting
  • Six Sigma, lean, or related certification or training strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other health and safety standards and compliance requirements

Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic leader: reads reports and KPIs, identifies the right improvement levers, and drives execution to target
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills; confident building relationships across clients and all levels of the business
  • People leader: attracts, develops, and retains talent through coaching and top grading; holds a high bar with integrity
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator โ€” credible with clients, executives, and the floor alike
  • Strong time management and project management skills; manages competing priorities without dropping the ball
  • Operates with integrity, professionalism, and a bias toward action

HOW WE WORK

ReturnProโ€™s culture is built around five core values that show up in behavior, not just on walls:

People-Centric Excellence

We put our teammates first. High performance and human dignity are not in tension.

Adaptive Evolution

The industry is changing fast. We evolve faster.
